Submit only original work. Any work submitted to After Hour Film Festival shall be deemed original by the festival organizers and judges.

If you are submitting a biography or if your work has got mention of any actual person, whether living or dead, please ensure that you have obtained all the necessary permissions. 

​

By submitting your work to After Hour Film Festival you are demonstrating that your work is absolutely original.

​

Your work should be either in English or have English subtitle. Otherwise, it shall be disqualified. 

​

All films submitted should be available for screening [private only]

​

You may resubmit your work but only after the season you have already submitted to and your submission has to adhere to all current rules. 

​

The eligibility of a submitted work is not dependent on the category to which it has been submitted and it is possible that there is no winner from a particular category.

​

The results shall be uploaded in the website and social media channels within 2 to 3 working days after the screening event. 

​

The submitter shall be notified of the selection status via FilmFreeway.

 

Please note "Selected" status represents that you shall be able to use the selection laurel and shall be entitled to a Certificate of Selection. 

​

Upon your work making it to the semi-finals/finals or wins an award, you shall be provided with specific certificate and laurel. 

​

The management team of After Hour Film Festival reserves the right to its sole discretion  to select a winner and reject or disqualify a film/script.
